Die Buddy Barrier zählt zu den Getragenen Items aus Pokémon UNITE. Sie verleiht dem Träger und dem nächsten Teammitglied mit den wenigsten KP einen Schild, der 20–40 % ihrer maximalen KP besitzt, wenn der Träger seine Unite-Attacke einsetzt. Darüber hinaus erhöht sie auch immer abhängig vom Level des Items die maximalen KP des Trägers.
Kurz: Grants a shield to the Pokémon and to the nearby ally Pokémon with the lowest HP when the Pokémon uses its Unite Move. Lang (Stufe 1-9): When the Pokémon uses its Unite Move, that Pokémon and the nearby ally Pokémon with the lowest HP are each granted a shield equal to 20% of their max HP. Lang (Stufe 10-19): When the Pokémon uses its Unite Move, that Pokémon and the nearby ally Pokémon with the lowest HP are each granted a shield equal to 30% of their max HP.
